Don Ho, hoeing the long road

c/o Badminton Stamps, his chart topping smash Tiny Bubbles
Personally, I'm an atheist in the voting booth and a theist in the movie theatre. I separate the morality of religion with the spirituality and solace of it. There is something boring about atheism.

I think that was the first time I saw Don Ho, on the Brady Bunch Hawaii episode. I remember Bobby and Cindy are sitting on a bench and Don and his bra come over and sing them a song. He was a cool dude. The Hawaiian Elvis! 8)

Yeah, he was a staple of 70s TV. He seemed like such a nice guy. Makes you wonder what kind of weird demented shit he was into... the seedy Hawaiian underbelly of Don Ho's world.

Everyone thought they knew Bob ( Hogan's Heroes) Crane too....and look how that one turned out.
Island living makes you decadent, so I've heard.

How many people have to die before no one ever dies again?

Everyone I don't like. Every. Last. One.

The first time I remember seeing Don Ho was on a Howie Mandel comedy special shot in Hawaii. Right in the middle of the show Howie stops his shtick to introduce Don. "Don Ho! Don Fuckin' Ho!" Don then came up and sang a bit of "Tiny Bubbles." I believe it was one of the last times that Howie did the rubber glove over the head gag. Then he beat a fish to death on the sidewalk. I couldn't swear that it was a real fish but it was rather unsettling. Just a weird show.
