*ahem* Sinclair Spectrum. As a robot I thought you would be familiar with your contemporaries.

And does this mean my Spectrum is about to become self aware like V'ger?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

If that was a joke, it sure made me PAMPILASH

Don't suppose anybody knows any codes for the Manic Miner on the GBA.......

I was going for the clueless robot, about things he should be clued up about schtick again - unsuprisingly.

Anyway, considering this is a pub based thread, I don't feel remotely guilty about willingly derailing this for a second, but a little while ago, I DL Realplayer Games, or something lilke that, specifically so I could play Sonic Spinball.... damn that was a good game. One of those ones that I now have the feeling that despite playing it for many, many hours as a kid, I don't think I got anywhere near completing...

Bugsy Malone is Columbus-19785.

I still remember the password for the last level of Lemmings on the Amiga as well. GINNLFMIJX.

Not sure on the BTTF number, but on the computer tip - 6031769 is the choose room code for Manic Miner on the Spectrum.

Does that count? For anything??

Yep, it means you're a damn weirdo like me.

555-0123 in BTTF - same number as God in Bruce Almighty. Incidentally, the theatrical release made the mistake of using a real phone number rather than the 555 prefix - it was changed for DVD and TV after people started ringing it trying to get through to the 'man upstairs'.

What is the name of the movie advertised as showing in the porno theatre in American Werewolf In London? What relevance does it have?

Was it something like "See You Next Wednesday"

the significance being a) its slight play on the Tuesday equivalent and b)

this fictitious film appears on all of Landis' work somewhere or other?

Damn VB, Carol Voderman has nothing on you, eh? I bet you eat Countdown Conundrums for breakfast, with a side order of soduku's on toast.

Wow. I actually got one right!

OK...name three directors who cameoed in Into The Night - use IMDB if you must, but know that you're a daisy if you do.....

I love any film that involves someone wanting to sleep but not being able to....and it was the first I knew of Pfeiffer (actually, I seem to remember they are BOTH in it, Dedee too).

One of those I just caught on Telly without knowing what it was and ended up watching the whole thing. I really like that movie.

Hmm. Not too many replies...how about if I drop it to just TWO directors?

C'mon! :D

Dave Cronenberg, Don Siegel, and Jim Hensen . . . and no, I didn't use IMDB . . . I'm just that much of a geek (good flick, btw, Doc) :P

But a decent question . . . hmmm. Of course I've gotta go with my favorite theme:

No cheating!! List all of the names the narrator goes by throughout the movie Fight Club.

And on a different note - I spent a couple of saturday nights at the Dog and the Duck in Soho (London), so have to go with that - sweet poll ^_^ . . . though I would have gone with The Bird and the Baby (if anyone knows the reference, they get extra credit, if you know what I mean )
