Thats the way it looks to me too, bit of a scam there. Just tallying up the cost of what I'll have to fork out on launch day.
works out at about £310

I take it you're buying 2 games and an extra nunchuck and wiimote, right?
Could do what I'm planning to do and get Wii Play - that way you get 3 games and a nunchuck for only slightly more than you're already planning to pay
MonkeyM666 wrote:How much are you wanting to spend? HD? W/S?
ThisIsTheGirl wrote:Ah - I get you Lugz: you're right, you'll need the nunchuck on top of the wiimote you get with Wii play.
I'm in the same boat as you, TV-wise. Part of me actually wants to see how the Wii works on my shitty "old faithful", but I have a nasty feeling that the time may finally have come for me to get a TV which wasn't made last millenium

It can also be used as a Gamecube controller, but GC controllers cannot be used for Virtual Console games.
Or maybe I've got that the wrong way around. I'm tired, leave me alone.

....so you're saying that the Classic Controller is actually a GC controller, but can't be used to play Virtual Console games, whereas a standard GC controller can?

Im pretty sure it is the other way around

Got it. But you can't use the Classic for your GC games? That sounds about right.
Cut me some slack - I was playing Gears of War till frakking 4 in the morning - I've had about 3 hours sleep!

You could always hook me up with your friend codes for online DS games, if you have any. I seem to recall suggesting this about half a year ago......
ThisIsTheGirl wrote:Not to worry! I'll happily pay a visit to your AC town - any fruit you don't have?
The next big DS wi-fi game for me is ISS Pro Evo - end of January.
I also have Star Fox, if any wants some online sky battles!
ThisIsTheGirl wrote:I'm really enjoying it actually - but it's an import so I don't know if you'll be able to get it in time for this weekend (you live in Europe, right?).
I don't know much about Age of Empires, but I have enjoyed the Cube version of Lego SW immensely. Not sure how well it would translate onto the DS's interface, but for an excellent review of the game, go here
