We were on last night until like 1am (again) but we had this amazing group of people. Really funny guys & very equally matched groups and let us not forget the plethora of exploding heads

Andy Moogal aka kid on an escalator - was totally hardcore badass. I would even go as far as to say - he might give sushi a run for his money ... maybe ... though sushi has been known to use his jedi mind tricks and use them well. I once saw sushi make a guy shoot himself (in the face) out of pure fear I think his name was trevor

alright hold up right there mister, the jedi mind trick is an undeniably powerful skill but it doesn't have complete hold of this brain - no sir! I'm much more smarter than that ... I heard a rumor that Sushi's skills are so refined that he rarely even uses a television anymore when playing, he's just that good.

Yea Kid i'll flaunt my skills tonight. I honestly have been playing like crap the past few days so im due a good night. Im sure this happens to you, where your reflexes just dont feel good sometimes. Mine were partly due to the hangover I had Sunday (Im the quarters master though), and cold fingers. Last time I played with Trevor and Athena, they kicked my butt.

Yeah I know what you mean. Some days it just won't work. Shooting all over the place and making horrible mistakes. If you got your ass handed to you by those two you must have been playing horrible.

Your connection was awesome. Only about 2-3 second bullet lag. But seriously it was really fun playing with all of you. Not sure if we were 8 zoners on at the same time though. I think we were 7 at the most.

No actually thats a very bad thing and we learned that a guy out in the middle of the desert is probably not the best connection to use.

My ISP is typically very solid, its my 360 that is tainted. I checked with support and they told me to essentially delete everything from the hard drive, reformat and recreate our gamer profiles.

You know its one thing to have to do this type of thing with a laptop but with a 1.5 week old game system ... words can't express my anger toward microsoft.

Last night was truly awesome, having so many zoners in a 4 vs 4 fire fight was the coolest thing we've done so far. Mostly all are above average gamers but just like with chess; the better your competition is - the more you learn. I clearly have a lot more to learn

Lag of any kind is horrible, nothing sucks more than getting a direct head shot with the shotgun and having nothing happen. Everyone should do a speakeasy.net test so we can figure out who has the fastest connection - then they can host.

THAT'S SUCKY!

I always had that problem when I was playing Jedi Knights 2 online. Bloody Lag... try being in OZ, the shear distance can give you about half a second delay, even if you have a great connection.

Maybe if we had played it before Gears..
The people were rude & there just didnt seem to be as much brainwork involved...
I mean there really wasnt any way of strategizing (other than get to the good weapons 1st) & we didnt know where those weapons were..

Heh, I don't play online (don't even have a 360 yet) but very briefly on Halo: I play splitscreen deathmatch with my buddies all the time. I have two friends who are a lot better than I am, and I usually get crushed but when I'm being peppered with rifle fire, about to die, and with my dying breath stick them in the chest with a plasma grenade...well that may be the most satisfying thing in all of gaming.

Yeah that is only because you haven't frag taged someone stealthily and dive rolled out of the way to watch him blow up then shoot his friends entire head clean off his shoulders with a single shotgun blast at such close range your vision get blurred with blood temporarily.

I crush you everytime! haha Seriously though Voldy....playing with the zoners on live is alot of fun. It basically translates to the fun of the zone in a gaming world. Oh and movie references abound when describing things that happen while spectating.....

Yea I have the curse of being part of two seperate groups of people and getting drawn to each side. I try to spread my time evenly. It has never been about which group is better BTW. Skill doesnt matter, its just that everyone is so nice!

No problem dude, if you want to hang out with your 12 year old posse thats cool. We understand they offer more of a challenge. But you're still welcome in our circle, I'm just saying I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how much people have improved since last we played.

It can't be very fun to always be the last man standing against 4, but I don't think you'll have that problem as much anymore

Yeah, going from Gears to Halo would be kinda tough. Plus I don't think you guys got a very good introduction....sorry about that. There were a couple people I should have booted.

But Halo-3 is gonna be the shit, so it might be good to prepare. GOW is so awesome though. I have a hard time explaining to my original-XBOX friends on LIVE why I can't play Halo-2 with them as much anymore.....I'm like, "get a 360 and GOW and you'll understand."
