We were on last night until like 1am (again) but we had this amazing group of people. Really funny guys & very equally matched groups and let us not forget the plethora of exploding heads :D

Andy Moogal aka kid on an escalator - was totally hardcore badass. I would even go as far as to say - he might give sushi a run for his money ... maybe ... though sushi has been known to use his jedi mind tricks and use them well. I once saw sushi make a guy shoot himself (in the face) out of pure fear  I think his name was trevor

"please oh please just stick your head around that corner one more time..."
BANG!
"Cool! Now lets all go do a dance around him while he's bleeding out" :P

Yeah playing with you guys was awesome. We played for at least 5 hours didn't we?

Can't wait to play sushi so that I can see his notorious skills. Those jedi mind tricks sound... oh wait it was you who killed himself. Never mind then.

And it's moogle, not moogal... :P

 :x alright hold up right there mister, the jedi mind trick is an undeniably powerful skill but it doesn't have complete hold of this brain - no sir! I'm much more smarter than that ... Now if you'll excuse me I need to go wash sushi's car, take his laudry to the cleaner and praise his name on all forums I can find. I heard a rumor that Sushi's skills are so refined that he rarely even uses a television anymore when playing, he's just that good.

Bob - I look forward to hiding behin ... er um, I mean playing with you, yeah that's it. I look forward to playing with you later tonight.

Im sure this happens to you, where your reflexes just dont feel good sometimes. Mine were partly due to the hangover I had Sunday (Im the quarters master though), and cold fingers. Last time I played with Trevor and Athena, they kicked my butt.

Yeah I know what you mean. Some days it just won't work. Shooting all over the place and making horrible mistakes. If you got your ass handed to you by those two you must have been playing horrible.

They are actually getting pretty good. Athena gets some amazingly skillful shots off sometimes....and Trevor gets all sneaky I swear. I lose track of them all the time.

Last night was really fun! We had everyone but Boba. Where were you Boba!?

We clearly have enough for 8 players. Its just getting those poor UKers to stay up late enough for us. And finding a connection that doesnt suck (like mine).

And my apologies for laying the beat down again last night...

Your connection was awesome. Only about 2-3 second bullet lag. But seriously it was really fun playing with all of you. Not sure if we were 8 zoners on at the same time though. I think we were 7 at the most.

No actually thats a very bad thing and we learned that a guy out in the middle of the desert is probably not the best connection to use.

My ISP is typically very solid, its my 360 that is tainted. I checked with support and they told me to essentially delete everything from the hard drive, reformat and recreate our gamer profiles.

You know its one thing to have to do this type of thing with a laptop but with a 1.5 week old game system ... words can't express my anger toward microsoft.

Last night was truly awesome, having so many zoners in a 4 vs 4 fire fight was the coolest thing we've done so far. Mostly all are above average gamers but just like with chess; the better your competition is - the more you learn. I clearly have a lot more to learn :?

Sushi, your shirts are hanging in your closet, the car is washed and vacuumed and it looks like you are pre-approved for a $5,000 credit card. The rest of the mail was bills ... which I paid using Andy Moogle's credit card ;)

Lag of any kind is horrible, nothing sucks more than getting a direct head shot with the shotgun and having nothing happen. Everyone should do a speakeasy.net test so we can figure out who has the fastest connection - then they can host.

HAHA.... I was going to be polite and say that wasn't too bad... but now I know the real story...

THAT'S SUCKY!

I always had that problem when I was playing Jedi Knights 2 online. Bloody Lag... try being in OZ, the shear distance can give you about half a second delay, even if you have a great connection.

So who's the best????

Damn, I really need to get more work done on the street so that I can buy a 360 and join in on the fun. Andy is constantly harassing me about not owning one and being left out of the fun.
And it doesn't help that the cops are harassing me also while I'm trying to do honest work.

Hey athena and T, sorry I didn't make it the other day, something came up. I should be on today.

Have you managed to get any Halo in yet?

I fear that after playing Gears you will find it a bit cartoony....I guess we'll see.

Sorry Wonka.. I just didnt like that game at all...
Maybe if we had played it before Gears..
The people were rude & there just didnt seem to be as much brainwork involved...
I mean there really wasnt any way of strategizing (other than get to the good weapons 1st) & we didnt know where those weapons were..

I dont know...
Halo seemed to be too chaotic...
Just a bunch of jumping around, shooting your guns & hoping for the best...
There were too many people talking to even hear each other...

I think I am just biased...
GOW has definitely set the bar high as far as online shooter games go...

Heh, I don't play online (don't even have a 360 yet) but very briefly on Halo: I play splitscreen deathmatch with my buddies all the time. I have two friends who are a lot better than I am, and I usually get crushed but when I'm being peppered with rifle fire, about to die, and with my dying breath stick them in the chest with a plasma grenade...well that may be the most satisfying thing in all of gaming.

lol...

I know what you mean as I feel the same when playing Gears...
It is so satisfying when I kill someone who is so much better than I am...

I think Gears has really ruined me for all other shooter games... seriously... It is so fucking awesome...

The graphics on Halo 2 are so primative in comparison...

Yeah that is only because you haven't frag taged someone stealthily and dive rolled out of the way to watch him blow up then shoot his friends entire head clean off his shoulders with a single shotgun blast at such close range your vision get blurred with blood temporarily. :D

EDIT: crossword puzzles are good too!

Hmm you weren't on this weekend old friend. Andy the Moogle was crushed! I was on the fire. You should have been online I need some competition on the other team. I mainly spent the night hunting Corrusive down making him bleedout, smoking him, bleed out, shoot him in the head before he bleed out. It was interesting.

That's only US though.

And "kid on an escalator" is too long for a XBL gamertag. Plus it costs 800 points to change.

Register here and if you get at least 1,600 acheivement points before april 12th you get free stuff. Such as Contra from the arcade....even a free game(fuzion frenzy2). Anyway looks cool and I thought I would let yall know.

Yea I signed up for that. Appearantly im eligible for the free Fuzion Frenzy because I have 15,000 points which works out to 10,000 annually I think. Anyway, hopefully I can do it because im not about to go buy a bunch of brand new games for the stupid thing and I only have what's in my library.

fucking IMDB srewed me twice in one day; that is from Dune! I couldn't remember the exactly words Feyd said right before he died so I went to IMDB to find the words, but it didn't sound right, so I put the movie in just now and I was right! HAHA! So I edited my post. Your post quoting me was how it was written on IMDB but they are wrong!

Anyway you would have had a good fight with the group we had, if you decided to stay and play but I understand you had more important things to do. So its cool! Next time though ...

Yea I have the curse of being part of two seperate groups of people and getting drawn to each side. I try to spread my time evenly. It has never been about which group is better BTW. Skill doesnt matter, its just that everyone is so nice!

No problem dude, if you want to hang out with your 12 year old posse thats cool. We understand they offer more of a challenge. But you're still welcome in our circle, I'm just saying I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how much people have improved since last we played.

It can't be very fun to always be the last man standing against 4, but I don't think you'll have that problem as much anymore

Just saying its hard to go from Gears to Halo...

I wish I had played Halo 1st...

Yeah, going from Gears to Halo would be kinda tough. Plus I don't think you guys got a very good introduction....sorry about that. There were a couple people I should have booted.

But Halo-3 is gonna be the shit, so it might be good to prepare. GOW is so awesome though. I have a hard time explaining to my original-XBOX friends on LIVE why I can't play Halo-2 with them as much anymore.....I'm like, "get a 360 and GOW and you'll understand."
