I've never heard of Golgoth Studios before this, but they are remaking Toki in HD & it looks really good.

Joe & Mac will be getting the same treatment.

I'm in two minds about retro remakes right now.
SSFIITHDR & Bionic Commando Rearmed were great, but the recent remakes of Bubble Bobble & Rainbow Islands were awful.

...but all it's doing is polishing up the graphics. It's still, exactly the same game.

If this is for Xbox or PS3 downloadable content on the cheap then yes, go for it, but if it comes out as some full priced game...what's the point? It's not adding anything.

It's XBLA & PSN.

I'd imagine Toki will stay pretty true to the original game, but Joe & Mac could benefit from online co-op.

That's ok then. I think it's a good idea to re-release some of the old classics with modern graphics, who knows, maybe the younger generation could benefit from playing a game that requires a bit of skill and timing rather than the usual drivel.

Now if they could Jazz up the graphics to Ghosts and Goblins...and that was a TOUGH GAME.

Capcom already did.
PSP only though.

Thanks Kon.

Unfortunately, I noticed it's not actually Ghosts and Goblins. It looks like a cross because the original and it's successor, the inferior Ghouls and ghosts.
It neither moves as crisp and swiftly nor has the same feel.

The updatedf graphics and music were cool though, shame they had to change the incredibly difficult gameplay.
