Right, the idea is to have one thread for all online gaming identities.
People post their ID & i update the first post.
Then any time someone gets an xbox/ps3/insert game here account they can check this post & find out all they need to know, instead of navigating through tonnes of threads.

I've heard that changing your region depends on the region of the live/hotmail email address you used to sign up to xbox live with. It sounds ridiculous, but it seems to be one of the ways they check up on people's accounts.

Yeah, the region thing is a pain in the ass. I want to change my account so that my registered bank card is the norwegian one I use all the time. But you cant change the billing region, so its still on my UK one.
I still have a uk bank account, but it only has pennies in it, so its a bit of a hassle.
I spoke with someone on the "help" line and they suggested just making a new gamer tag/hotmail account.
Which is fine apart from losing all of the DLC, arcade games and precious gamerscore!!!

I hold out hope that they will change this someday, so im going along with it for now.
