It's a pancake made from whole wheat flower. Tastes like choke.
The Garbage Man wrote:I believe after the main villain of the arc ripped out Spider-Man's eye, Parker ate his head. Pete then proceeded to "die" by placing himself in a cocoon before emerging and shedding his skin, finding himself completely healed of all past and present injuries.

Maybe you'll remember, Dennis...Web of Spider-Man #100, right? The "Spider-Armor" that lasted all of ONE ISSUE...before...I think Doc Ock smashed it apart...
Where did Peter get that ugly piece o' shit from? I can't remember. Like it matters, but it's one of those things that'll bug me...
buster00 wrote:Thanks! You're a god, brotha. You didn't have to go to this trouble; I thought you (or someone on the thread) might just remember it off the top of yer head. Comic fans remember the strangest details about other people's (fictional) lives, right?
I was thinking Reed Richards built it for him, but that was something else. Peter built the (HA!) Spider-Armor himself. Jeez, no WONDER I forgot...that really WAS a bad issue...
DennisMM wrote:Interesting, isn't it, that a tinkerer like Peter Parker could build that armor?

Yeah, just some spare scrap metal he had laying around the apartment... and some shit from that one drawer in the kitchen. It was finished between classes. Easy.

maybe that's what those things are.

Right. Maybe it will vary depending on who is drawing this angel-killing crime against nature.

Couldn't agree more. I LOVE this costume.

This one was drawn by Bryan Hitch, who I'm not all that familiar with . . . regardless, it's crap. I'm not renewing my subscription if this is permanent. He looks like some kid took an old action figure, melted random pieces of it with a lighter, and then dipped it in a vat of molten jello. Utter C R A P

I am so glad I'm not alone on this. That costume really was one the best reinterpretations of a classic costume ever pulled off. It kept the original spirit of the costume while giving it a slight updating in style. In fact, it was so good, I think we should post another picture of it to counter act the craptacular Iron Spider.
Yeah. That makes me feel better.
