Now that's an STP you can be proud of!

I've also heard that it was Stereo Temple Pirates at one point.

listen to the song "computer love" by Kraftwerk off of their album "The Mix". then, immediately afterwards, listen to "Talk" by coldplay.

excellent point Pudie.
and i, for one, am NOT willing to go and search out the new/good music.
i'm just too lazy.
i like to listen to what i already know and love.
Do i hate MTV? yeah, sure i do, because THEY don't try and find the new great music. Did they go find new great music in the 80s/90s? Probably not, but it certainly felt like they were more cutting edge 'back in the day'. at least they had programs for specific fans (Headbangers ball/yo MTV raps etc) that allowed them to explore what wasn't necessarily mainstream.
were the fuck was i going with this????
oh yeah, i hate Green Day.

i wish i could do that. can you teach me your secret?
burlivesleftnut wrote:Well, their music sucks, IMO. They may be a great band but Dave Matthews himself sounds like a muppet. I'd like to put a firecracker down his throat. He's like the male version of Leanne Rhymes.

Just vote Limp Bizkit and then suddenly this poll will become very, very possible. A cretinous, horrendous and thoroughly disgusting band who, thank God, have faded into well deserved obscurity.
I had to go with Nickelback...
I went to a festival some years ago now that they played at, they are the gods of cheese...

Yes. Yes they are. If you roll with that perspective, they're hardly awful.

I only just realised 'Jump' was about a suicide attempt.
