Beast Wars

Postby Howard Moon on Fri Mar 03, 2006 9:10 pm

I saw that G4 is showing Beast Wars in its Action Blast block. The one thing I remember about the show was that it had one really outstanding episode, when it was on Toonami. It was the one where Dinobot fought Megatron and died saving the first tribe of humans. Does anybody else remember this?

Man, I wish I still had my C=64. I had sooo many pirated games
for that thing!

RAID ON BUNGLING BAY was sweeeet!

What were we talking about again? Oh yeah, BEAST WARS. I liked
the show, but I never could get past the fact that they were robots
that turned into Dinosaurs. WTF??? Does that even make sense???
Where did the flesh come from? Magic?

i used to play Final Fantasy III on my C64, and would stay up for 48 hour stretches playing it was so addicting. got it for Christmas in "84 and had that thing for years. i can't remember the name, but they had a chess-type game for it, white vs black but with a different set of character pieces, and you had to fight video-game-style to win a square when you moved onto one occupied by your opponent. it was a very cool game and i'd love to see an incarnation of it for one of the current systems. another game i used to love to play on my C64 was "Speedball". i think it was more fun on the C64 than the latest version out.
