There was a made for TV scary movie I loved as a kid called "Dark Night of the Scarecrow". I wish someone would remake that. God I loved it.

as well as gaslight - with ingrid - but i guess that's more psychological thriller - but considering the time-period it was in... has some good creepy moments...

For some reason, Evil in children is so much more genuinely frightening than in adults. I'm trying to still figure out why, as I've always got that "Oh there kids, they don't really mean what they're doing" argument going against them.
