Postby Dark Knight on Thu Jan 18, 2007 5:01 pm

I don't if anybody cares but I just thought I would post this cause I know there are some fellow fans out there....

NEW SPECIAL EDITION DVD of HARR*Y AND THE HENDERSONS

I know it's been out on dvd before but it's hard to find or at least I can't find it.

Extras will include a commentary with Director William Dear, deleted scenes, a Harr*y...Finding the Missing Link featurette, a Making of the Harr*y and the Hendersons featurette, a 'Newswrap' feature, and the theatrical trailer.

here's a link to the artwork....

Nah, eff these guys! HatH was a great film when I was young. Now, I won't be buying the DVD. BUT...well, there's no real but.... still, this is my attempt at making you feel better about your stillborn threads.

I remember crying at this movie when John Lithgow hit Harry and told him to go away.

And I only saw it last week!

Did you guys know that it was retitled Bigfoot & the Hendersons in the UK because they were afraid that people would take offense with the name being the same as the then 3 year old Prince Harry.

True story.

I have actually always liked the film, it's got some funny moments, especially the look on Harrys face when he destroys the basement.

David Suchet apparently got right into his character too, I've heard stories of him dressing up in full Poirot costume with Hair, mustache and make-up when he had to do ADR (additional Dialogue Recording) for the show. What a knob jockey.

They won an Make Up Oscar!

Wow, that was one of the first films I ever watched in theatre. My aunt took my sister and me into it and I didn'T even know what it was (I remember that I saw a clip from it weeks before and thought it was a horrormovie.).I must have been 4 or 5 years old. *sigh* I hope this DVD will come to Germany soon.

Howdy Abjotenad, welcome to the Zone. There's a thread called Welcome New Zoners where you can tell us a bit about yourself. I wouldn't bother telling us about your hobbies though, we already know THAT already.

Predator was better. Odd that the same guy played both characters that couldn't be more opposite. Props to Rick Baker for that, I guess. One was so lovable, and one was running around with John Lithgow for a whole film. j/k
