Who's YOUR Legion of Doom?

Postby SilentBobX on Sat Feb 24, 2007 9:57 pm

I was going over this new comic that was re-imagining the whole Challenge of the Superfriends vs. Legion of Doom idea. Great stuff, art, etc. Which brings me to this.....

Who would YOU make as your Legion of Doom.

Here's the scenario: You're Lex Luthor. You have a device that will enable you to go across comic continuity and get twelve supervillains for you to command. Any continuity. Marvel, DC, Image, Top Cow, etc. Who do you pick?

Only 2 stipulations: No 'god' like beings(Galactus, etc) and noone who will challenge your authority(Dr. Doom, etc).

With that, here's my list:

Bizarro: Never underestimate the value of dumb muscle. And muscle doesn't come any dumber.

The Abomination: Ditto.

Stormshadow: You wanna rule the world? You better have some ninjas on your side. And they don't come any badder than Stormshadow.

Giganta: Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman was a terrible movie, but don't tell her that.

Lady Deathstrike: You want someone dead? She's your woman.

Electro: Very underrated. Not the smartest but when you can channel electricity in large quantities you don't need to be.

The Scorpion: Mean, and a tough fighter.

Professor Zoom(Reverse Flash): That kind of power is essential. You need diversity to succeed in conquering the world and superspeed is very necessary to that end.

Felix Faust: Technology isn't always the answer. Magic comes in migthy handy also.

Killer Frost: Just cause she's so evil

Black Adam: Power with brains is also a great idea too.

Sinestro: Guy with a power ring on your side is definitely worth having

Of course, I will send Wolverine against you seeing as his healing factor makes him immune to pestilence and wipe out your Spanish ships.

Pfft, I'd like to see Wolverine be as sea worthy as any of them ships. You stick that guy out into the ocean and his adamantium skeleton is going to sink him to the bottom of the sea bed.

No, Ricardo... we established a long time ago that adamantium is durable and nearly indestructible, but surprisingly light.

Ulik should be in there, if dumb muscle is needed. For that matter, also Kurse. And Mangog.

I think he's talking about Lady Deathstrike getting her face filled with the stuff and sinking into the water with a 'clunk'.

The adamantium skeleton weighs 100 lbs., putting Wolverine at 300 lbs. total.
Pretty heavy, but still possible to swim.

I just imagined you with a your comic book voice....dork!

Reminds me at work they were all looking at the Fantastic Four Trailer and they were like I thought Silver Surfer was a good guy...and of course I spout out like a robot

"Silver Surfer started out as the Herald of Galactus the eater of worlds"

caught myself...and ran back into my office as everyone found out how big of a nerd I am.

Scorpion
Nemesis Kid
Absorbing Man
Black Adam
General Zod
Brainiac
Dr. Doom
Sandman
Juggernaut
Sabretooth
Lightning Lord
Darkseid

Now this is a lot of "heavy hitters" on this list.....a lot of big egos too....but if they could make this work, it would take the ENTIRE roster of the Justice League to take down this team.
(If they could at all.)
