this extended fly past/first view of the Enterprise is fantastic, you can really feel kirk's devotion to his ship - glad Wise reinstated it.

i still think that the enterprise from this film is one of the most amazing looking spacecraft ever designed. it really looks beautiful.

not as beautiful as shatner, but beautiful nonetheless.

I'm going to jump in for a moment with the blind commentary. Not sure if you're there yet, guessing not, but Bones + beard = godly. The man looks like the hippy tripster I always knew he was when he wasn't busy patching up redshirts. Or proclaiming them dead. I don't know why people hate it so much. I really envision him as a futuristic toker, the man loves Romulan ale for Christ's sake!
