It's all about streaming movies through your computer. Netflix is doing it and so is this company out of Seattle called ReelTime.com. They have a lot of niche movies and a good selection of horror as well as some documentaries and lots and lots of indies. Their rate is really cheap too. I'm thinking of signing up for a free trial. Apparently, you can also hook it up to your TV so you can still get comfy on the couch. What do you guys think?

There are people who don't know the internet is anything but AOHell or are frightened of the internets and want a hand to hold. I was with AOL for a short while many years back and they kept sending me their discs for another five or six years. Some of the packaging was pretty cool, except it had the logo.

I can't recall the name of the movie, but there is a funny scene where they make a collage of all the AOL discs. Anyone remember what film that's from?

I don't know...
But it probably reminded me of a different movie...

I remember that scene. Did anyone instantly think Live Free or Die Hard? I did!

Anyone picture The Todd in a smoke filled lounge, up on stage, wearing a purple polyester suit, swinging a microphone, and just a few claps in the audience, perhaps some tomatoes and lettuce on stage?

BRIAN COLLINS wrote:As sales of physical discs (Blu-ray and DVD) decline, the idea of bonus features becomes less and less essential for new, mainstream films. There will always be a market for library titles with extensive retrospective commentaries and documentaries (see: Criterion, Scream Factory, etc), but for new films it's a dying trend. "Extra, Extra" is an attempt to encourage the studios not to give up on us disc champions, by mostly skipping over the film itself (which you can find reviews for anywhere) and focusing on the bonus features they were kind enough to include. Viva la physical media!
After a torturous wait of three months and change, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is finally on Blu-ray, so you can relive the nostalgic memories of fifteen weeks ago without shelling out theater ticket prices.
