No, I think its the Greek Theatre, Slims and Ampitheatre in MV that give it away.

No, I think I was reffering to the word he used, hence the quote.
You just seriously confused me...
Do I really need to add a winky?

Damn, ya got me. I should have added a "ya'll" or an "aboot" in there somewhere. Then I could've been a Canadian Southern gentleman who lives in Northern California.

Well, I was gonna bring something up after you replied but since everything I said was quoted and eye-rolled to death, I'm just giving up! Have a good weekend Nor Cal dude.

doglips wrote:Saw Arcade Fire last night, great gig ruined by some fuckwit throwing a show at Win ( hit him in the face ) during Power Out, more missiles lobbed at the stage after that. Felt embarrassed to be present, kind of took the shine off a great performance.
Tony, M.I.A at The Rescue Rooms, Dec 17th, a monday. Tickets available, I need to get the night off work.

'course, with Angus' busted-up back, who knows what we'll be in for...maybe 'nekkid wheelchair wheelies!

Nope, this is the first time I get to hear his fables in person!
After not going to see any bands for about two months, I suddenly get four gigs lined up in the same week. Life is good.

Bayou wrote:Last show (I won't call it great. But it's a show...) I saw was Daughtry at the Hard Rock Orlando, last December. Took the wife out for dinner and the show for our 11th anniversary. She liked the hell outta him.
Me.... I'm a little harder to impress...
He wasn't bad, considering his lack of material. He did a few cover tunes (Even a Motley Crue cover. ugh...) But the guy's got pipes. If he can distance himself from the other 20+ bands that he sounds just like, he might just make it.
The problem I had with the show was the opening acts. All 3 of them.
Crap, utter crap, and Canadian crap on a stick.
2 hours of opening acts. 2 FUCKING HOURS. I know you want to give the unknowns a shot man, but c'mon...2 goddamn hours of listening to a band **Dirty University** that sounded and looked like vintage "Black Crows", a band **You are I am** that wanted to be Coldplay (although with even more sux teh ballz) and the Canadian group **The Midway State** that defied explanation. They were that frakkin' bad. Everyone was chanting for the main billing, and these guys just mushed on... Horrendous...
By the time Daughtry hit the stage, I was already ready to hit the door.
5/10 overall.
