The gloves seem to be off on weeds lately. Between the Christian community built on bribery, hypocrisy and weed, the military "suck yourself" guy.

I don't understand why Nancy is so freaked out by a little smack though. She was just in a driveby!

One thing that hasn't really been sitting well with me is the handling of Nancy. Look at the first episode, she was NOT fucking around with Doug's son (that WAS Doug's son, wasn't it?) when he sold to the kids.

I dunno, as hysterical as she is, she seems to really be losing her edge. Maybe having two gangstas and a few Albanians pointing guns at you waiting for weed that you can't produce will do that to you. Especially after finding out your husband, the psycho DEA agent was just murdered.

U-Turn and Marvin have quickly become my new favorite characters on the show. Silas, amazingly, has turned around since the finale, too. I HATED his ass for the longest time, but now he seems at least a little bit cooler.

The Secret cracked me up too, I thought that was a riot. This show is just so fucked, but I absolutely love it!

Yeah I think she is loosing her edginess but it's due to the other characters being more so.

U-Turn I still hate, but Marvin is awesome.

Silas was too whiny last season. This season he is cool.

Well, he was more "real" last season. Actually, one of the most realistically written and acted scenes was the one where Silas has a bloody nose and he's freaking out because the deaf girl's parents won't let him talk to her. That, and Nancy's reaction to her dad. (wait, wasn't this all season 1?)

Come on, man, U-Turn is a fuckin TRIP!

Greatest line this season, but a good contender is "Well I don't have any more SHIT to FUCK UP!"

Man, that was the funniest episode yet. I actually did a spit-take when they revealed the picture of the dirt shrew.

And that whole scene with Andy at Sanjay's house, ranting like a lunatic while Sanjay "translates" between Andy and Sanjay's parents was fucking brilliant.

As was the whole bit with U-Turn buying a whole fleet of Toyata Prius because they're nice and quiet, good for sneaking up on people for drive-by shootings.

Once again, our mantra for the night (I have a small group of friends that I watch this with) was "What the fuck is wrong with this show?!"

Andy is just a riot, that guy constantly cracks me up. He holds the title of "Funniest Moment In Television History" for me with his "Randy Johnson" speech to Shane.

So, last night.... "Bitch-ass bitch" kinda sums up that whole U-Turn story. I love Marvin!

Mary-Kate is hot as hell. Stern has always said that the twins are just not sexy, and I think he's on crack. That was the greatest shot of an Olsen Twin EVER (from behind, legs wide, dry humping that lucky tool Silas). I think the writers/director lost their heads a little and got too caught up in the fact that it's an Olsen on their show. Some of the shots of her were just reeking of "look at this shot! It's an Olsen twin! ON WEEDS!!!" And personally, I can't stand that term, "smoke me out." It's "smoke me up," people, get it right!

"Whore... gentleman! ... another whore..." "You gotta give it to him, he's accurate with that 5 iron!" Too damn funny, Modine is all kinds of great in this role.

Shane is going to do something VERY bad to that lunatic school. Or while he's there. And it's going to be glorious.

Marvin is greart and I'm glad U-Turn is gone. I want to see what ahppens with Marvin now. He is going to be lead dealer.

I thought Mary Kate was hot as hell too. That smoke me out thing made me pissed off as well. Smoke me up makes sense as it gets you high. Smoke me out? out of what!

I can't wait to see Shane act out. I loved his religious right are 2 clicks away from Jihad speech.

"Shaven maidens" Awesome. I totally thought Andy was going to sub for the steele man though and I am glad they didnt go that route. Doug subbing would have been hysterical though.

Shanes spouting off the answers tro the mysteries was hilarious and then public funding speech. AWESOME. The "we're trying to save you beatdown was sweet as well. I would have liked to see Shane and that girl have more of thing this episode but I am sure it's coming.

I am surprised Nancy came to Taras rescue during the whole darwinism volution thing. Atleast sailas wont be makin anymore babies that was a plot I hated.

As for Nancy she is out of debt, but told not to deal anything. Will she obey? Of course not. I am glad her and conrad seem to be getting together again. I always liked them. Nancy was smokin' at the end there. DAMN.

Next week the return of the mystery of the dead DEA agent.

I watched the latest episode last night with my girlfriend and my roommate, and I like the show, I don't love it. I think it's a little forced, and Mary-Louise Parker is really pushing the doe eyed thing this season (not that i mind) but the two characters that bug me the most are Shane and Isabelle.

Now, for whatever reason, my girlfriend AND my roommate both love these two characters (roommate is a girl, fyi).

When the scene came on of them in class, and Isabelle tags the scene with "Jesus", my roommate says, "I love those two, I wish they had their own show", and my girlfriend said, "Oh, YES!".

People of The Zone, I can tell you this:

I cannot, in a million years, describe to you the sheer horror that I felt in that moment, for I had envisioned what could possibly the worst idea for a television show ever. Of all the absurd and terrible ideas that have ever been mentioned outloud, none of them could compare to the Shane & Isabelle show.

Shane talks like no kid his age should but I still like him.

I liked him in the first season, when it was cute to have a kid talk like that (oh those sass-mouthed feisty sit-com children), but there's something awkward about having him look and act exactly the same, despite the fact that he's clearly a foot taller and going through puberty.

I'm glad goodbye to Peter, and I'm glad the writers didn't keep his corpse hidden until the end of the season. It's time for Nancy to get down to business. It was good to see that the DEA were happy to see a corrupt agents murder go unsolved.

Man was seeing Celia naked gross. They did a good job with the moment though and with her issues with moving forward with Sullivan.

Sullivan definitely rolls with the punches too. Nancy didnt want the dress send it to celia.

I hope we get to see more of conrad and Nacy together again. Of course Heylia had to allow Nancy to buy from her. There was no real doubting.

So Nancy is setting up another dummy corp with doug and buying pot using city money. It also said that she will be dealing in Majestic.

Andys foot porn. Hilarious.

It's the third season. The first had some real poignant moments, and was occasionally very touching as well as funny, but now it's most played for last and is more satirical parody . Occasional scenes that go for the guts, like Celia revealing her post cancer breasts are nice, but the way Modine is playing his Monorail Guy, the affect is fairly limited. Still good though.
