Director's Cut. That's the one we've seen the less. That way, it feels like we're watching a more new film. Plus it really brings you right into the centre of the whole ordeal, makes you feel like you're virtually there. Really gives you an actual experience. You can really feel the heat of this movie.

I was thinking the same thing, And that that was Amy Smart with Denise Richards. Also I love the Nazi style uniforms. God the satire is so obvious I love that some people don't see it.

Yeah, they certainly didn't bite off more than they could chew, thus they still stand up well.

I'm up for it but if this is crossing international borders it's gonna take some serious coordinating. Also it looks like it's gonna have to be cable. Do people in England get all the same standard shit like TBS and USA and what not (she asks in total unabashed ignorance...)?

I'm sure we could find a DVD we all share. Getting the times coordinated might be difficult. But then I do suffer from insomnia.

That could work too

Now I know what my criteria is for quality film-viewing. It must have one, two, or all three (but at least one!) of these things: snakes, boobs, or dancing. So what's it gonna be?

The first one we did was Star Trek The Motion Picture Special Edition DVD, and was a transatlantic affair...

For "snakes, boobs and dancing"....it might be time to break out copies of The Final Frontier...

So it's From Dusk 'Til Dawn then?

mmmmmmmmmm....Salma....

Do we want to do something we can give the MST3K treatment to? Or something good? Either way could be fun.

Yeh, Santanico Pandemonium - Salma's character in Duck Til Dawn. It's a cool film you can discuss and I'd guess most of us have it.
I was thinking maybe Robocop or Terminator but I don't mind what we go for really.

Oh shit! I honestly didn't even think of that but it does indeed fulfill all three requirements (and in abundance, I might add.)

Ehm...looking at my collection nothing popped out. Well, ok, I was thinking White Lightning would be fun but I might stand alone on that one. I would definitely be down for some Dusk Till Dawn action.

BUMP

So, I think we should try and organise one of these for july/august time. I'm down with Duse Til Dawn but how about we take 2 weeks to come up with films and a week to vote and we can schedule a time that's possible for all of us while we're at it.
First it's probably best to get an idea of how many (if any) are interested so just post a message here if you are going to be free for 2hours sometime in July or august.

I'd be up for Dusk Till Dawn.

The real challenge would be getting people to do it for both Dusk Till Dawn & Full Tilt Boogie.
But we'd all probably just post "Shh, here comes Keitel's "moment" speech".
