And since Goyer signed on for the Flash, it looks like that's the next one coming. Should be pretty nifty, he's getting physicists to consult on it and sounds like he really wants to make something special.

To be a stickler, anti-matter has positive mass just like we do, only with an opposite charge. Dirac was the first to discover this and he was all 'OMG WTF wered my elektron go??'
It would be more like a tachyon, which means you'd have negative squared mass according to the tweaked equation:
But another way of putting it is that you'd have 'imaginary mass', like an imaginary number on the number line.
Okay, sorry, I must have fell into a pile of 'know-it-all' today or something. I'm starting to annoy even myself.

Hawkman. I take alot of shit for liking this character, but I like him. There's more to him than just being a cop with wings. Give him a good director and writer and it'll bank.

EDIT:
Oops, forgot to mention:Iconoclastica wrote:antimatter . . . fun stuff, though not nearly as much of a party as antigravity
The cool thing is that negative mass means negative space-time curvature, meaning you'd in effect have anti-gravity.
Okay, I'm really done this time.

I'm SO with you on this; I can't believe I didn't mention it before you did. Do a Plastic Man movie, but go easy on the zanier aspects. He's gotta have some sense of humor, but we've already seen Jim Carrey do The Mask, so he can sit this one out, knowwhumsayin'?
Some years back, the Wachowski brothers (who should have known better) came up with a Plastic Man script wherein Plas was some kind of environmentalist student who gains stretching powers. It REALLY sucks. You can read it here if you wanna be sickened.

I read those - really great stories. Be good for film or even TV if done right.Chairman Kaga wrote:How about an animated Lobo flick.
Did you see the student film of Lobo's Paramilitary Christmas Special?

Singer Still Planning Superman Sequel
Source: Edward Douglas July 21, 2006
At the Warner Bros. panel at Comic-Con in San Diego today, director Bryan Singer said that he was in talks with the studio about a sequel to Superman Returns. He hadn't concluded a deal to do it yet, which he said is always "iffy," but he has every intention to do a sequel for 2009, and said that while Superman Returns reintroduced the character for new people, the next one will let him get all "Wrath of Khan on it."

I like SR but please do something "ORIGINAL" with the sequel.
I want to see Superman fighting Bizarro, Gog or Lobo in a movie.
Zod is cool and I love Superman II, but I don't want to see a remake of that film.
I just want something new.
Maybe Singer will hire Alex Ford to write the sequel.
SUPERMAN RETURNS 2
Cinescape has an interesting rumor floating in from across the pond. Apparently, director Bryan Singer was at the UK premiere of the Routh-fueled blockbuster, and brought up his writing partners. One of them walked up to the mike and brought attention to what was written on the T-shirt he was wearing -- "Kneel before Zod." A "general" idea of what's planned for a sequel?

Warner, DC meet to plan
July 11th, 2008
Author Kevin Melrose
Often criticized for its handling of its comic-book properties, Warner Bros. is holding high-level talks with DC Comics to develop a film strategy for its superheroes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Pictures Group president Jeff Robinov and Warner Bros. Pictures president Kevin McCormick have met with DC executives and top creators over the past couple of weeks to hammer out a new direction for the big-screen adaptations:Up until now, the comic properties had been undergoing a hodge-podge development process. With the recent success of Marvel Studios’ Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk and that company’s plan to develop its many characters linked strategically together, Warners has been forced to take a close second look at its sister company.
Warner Bros. is keeping quiet on the details of the meetings, but released a statement saying: “While we are not going to go into the specifics of the meetings, we’re constantly looking at how best to exploit the DC Comics characters and properties. DC is an incredibly valuable asset to Warner Bros. and plays an important role across the entire studio by providing development and franchise opportunities for all media, including films, television, home entertainment, animation, consumer products, video games and digital platforms.”

It's only wrong, if you don't do it right...
I'm in the process of writing a spaceploitation movie with all female lead characters...
It's called A Fistful of Stars...
