But they seem to have reformed, and so far have announced tour dates in the uk. http://www.loopz.co.uk/begin.html
I think more dates are to be added, and I hope I can wangle one of the gigs. (Please please please come to norway!)

tapehead wrote:My Chemical Romance to cover Dylan's "Desolation Row" for the credits of the movie. Apparently it will be an abridged version of Dylan's +12 minute epic, in the style of James Carroll's version of 'People Who Died,' which plays over the credits of Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake. "Snyder confirmed that we'll be hearing classic, era-defining tracks from Jimi Hendrix, Simon & Garfunkel, Nat King Cole and Bob Dylan", and nothing that was recorded after 1985 - but maybe covers, like in this instance, it's not entirely clear.

i'm only posting this so i have an excuse to bag on the barenaked laides.
first, they suck.
secondly, their music sucks.
thirdly, the whole thing about them putting out a kids album is such a total ripoff of TMBG "pop band puts out kiddie album to make loads of money". i guess the money's good, but...
fourthly, if your band's name is "barenaked ladies" then it's a little weird to be putting out a kids album under that name.
and fifthly and finally, they suck.
and their music sucks.
