I still have no faith in this film, I'm actually tempted to watch Stuart Little and see how he treats action scenes with his script. I am trying to think about the action scenes in his other films (Lady in the water comes to mind more then any other) and there was nothing special about anything he did. I think that he'll be able to pull off the screen play and all of the emotional, and thematic ideas well (mainly due to them being spoon fed to him from she show... kinda like Stuart Little) but the action could really be where the whole thing goes under. Why this dude still gets work after the amount of money he's lost for the studios is beyond me. Give it to Spike Jonze I say....
Hell, even give it to Michael Bay....

I can just about see it if he buffs up a little bit but I think that's not a bad choice. I'd prefer him to be Sokka though.I think Ang has to be Indian or Tibetan.
Maybe if The Water Tribe were played by Innuit or Mongolians?
I'd Certainly like Zukko to be Chinese. Toph should be a Japanese girl and Uncle Iroh, MongolianThat would be cool.
Trouble is, getting such a diverse cast together with decent enough actors.

right, because Spike Jonz has been so successful in his attempt to bring a children's story to the big screen..........

I don't get that race casting debate to an extend that I can't tell if some of you are serious or not.

I'm being serious because the whole series takes place over different nations and continents, it would be nice to see a variation in cast ethnicity.

That's pretty impressive. I kind of got a Lord of the Rings vibe from that. Nice.
