It contains a reprint of Katherine Hepburn's memoir of the making of the film, with vintage photos and so on. Looks GREAT! I can hardly wait to rewatch the movie and read the memoir. This is cool stuff!

I just bought a WD Media Player and an external hard drive for my movies... the playback is AWESOME! I am in geek heaven.

Have you seen World's Greatest Dad? I picked it up as well but haven't seen it - heard good things. How is it?

Does that Western Digital thingie convert your DVDs for you? This whole scenario intrigues me...but I really do wonder about the resolution/playback. Does it handle BluRay? Does it convert the extras/commentaries/etc?

Funny, I didn't have you pegged as a Rent boy.

I bought it right after it came out, and I don't go for the trilogy mania. Forgive me. I'm just weak. Seriously, I bought it because I thought it was passable, though only from seeing 1/4 of it at the theater. I had a migraine and the fight with Harry Osborne nearly made me puke, so I left. But I'd enjoyed it to that point - so I assumed the rest was okay.

I have the Donner cut of Superman II. It's worth watching just by way of comparison if nothing else. A lot of the slapstick in the big Metropolis fight is removed, as are the scenes with Superman's random powers (giant plastic "S", etc) at the Fortress and his magical kiss of not remembering stuff. Plus all the extra Brando in the Donner cut is very nice.
EDIT: I think Dennis mentioned a while back that he was going to pick up the Donner cut, I'd be interested to know what he thought of it.
