Spandau Belly wrote:I'm with Caruso on this nonsense involving not putting all the cuts on one mega-edition. What gives? They keep trying to sell everybody on this bluray business but then they don't even do things that standard def DVDs did. My standard def Terminator 2 has like three cuts on one disc, don't tell me you couldn't put both the theatrical and extended cuts of Amadeus on one bluray, that's just lazy. I don't get it either, I mean, as far as I know the theatrical cut of Amadeus is the one that swept the Oscars and made millions of dollars, I don't know why they think nobody would want that and why they just put the director's cut out. It's also one of those easy cuts where the extended cut is just some added scenes, it's not like Apocalypse Now where they use totally different cuts of the same scenes and edit them different. But even so, I would expect an Apocalypse Now bluray to have several cuts all in one place.
The same goes for my Watchmen ultimate bluray box thing, there's like four discs in this thing and the box is huge but they couldn't put all three cuts in there?

Or the 3D version. Anybody bought a 3D tv yet?

Yes, I'm talking about The 'burbs, even if it's just a barebones release with nothing but the trailer. (I gave up all hope that we ever see a Special Edition of it, maybe even with the two alternative endings.)

I didn't know there was such a thing as a "Bay-gasm". The concept is rather frightening.

Apologies to any little people who may frequent these boards.
Although I still think "little people" sounds more derogatory than "midget."

Where did you find that? I'd be keen to see the DC, and at $7.50......shit, man. Why not?

It contained:
Leon
Nikita
The Fifth Element
The Big Blue
Atlantis (?)
Subway
Les Derniers combat
and all for approx £10 ($15) which is a pretty good price I reckon. And I also picked up some Denzel goodness in Fallen, I just love that movie. Was also quite cheap.
