The Sunset Limited

I think we talked about this a little in another thread, but Tommy Lee Jones's adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's play "The Sunset Limited" is finally airing on HBO this Saturday. Starring Jones and Sammy K. Mackson, the two characters meet after a botched suicide attempt. And here's a preview!

That looks very interesting but it looks more like a compilation of scenes from the show of Sam L just pulling faces and making over accentuated statements.

Just a reminder that The Sunset Limited premieres tonight, in case anybody has HBO or is looking out for it elsewhere.

This was a pretty cool movie/play thing. I didn't like it as much the first time, but I re-watched it once I knew what was going on and enjoyed it a lot more. Really well-written and acted, and in a strange way it reminds me a LOT of McCarthy's The Road (where the topic of suicide was also frequently bandied about)
