Halle Berry and Denise Richards aren't really what I would call stars, Sean Bean? Robert Carlyle? Robbie Coltraine? Sorry but Bond creates Stars out of it's leads and sometimes it's Bond Women like say Famke Jansen, this girl from the Dreamers is a fantastic actress which shows that the backlash they recieved critically from the abysmal Die another day has been listened too, this cast is looking fantastic and your complaining there aren't enough stars? go and watch you ballroom dancing show if you want stars.
ETA: Yes Berry is a star but she's a pretty shitty one and ruined the last film.
John-Locke wrote:I've seen the film buddy or are they not from the Dreamers? She's nekkid for about half the film if anyone hasn't seen it, it's okay but despite the nudity it's not as good as some people make out IMO, actually too much nudity and not enough story for me, it does it have it's moments though.

Meh. That's one Hollywood hot chick that does absolutely nothing for me.

Honestly, I don't think Sam Mendes brings anything to a movie OTHER than Roger Deakins so I find this pretty annoying since they delayed this movie to fit Mendes's schedule.
Jason Bailey wrote:Movie lovers around the world were saddened last week by news of the death of Harris Savides, the acclaimed cinematographer best known for his collaborations with Gus Van Sant (on Milk, Elephant, Gerry, Last Days, Restless, and Finding Forrester), but whose credits also included Zodiac, The Game, Somewhere, American Gangster, Whatever Works, and Birth. Savides was a true artist, one who brought a distinctive eye and sense of craft to his work, and merged his unique sensibility with the directors he collaborated with. But the cinematographer is often an underappreciated and overlooked part of the filmmaking process, their gifts and style too often solely attributed to their directors.
In an attempt to acknowledge some of the other true artists in Savides’ field, we put together a brief survey of some of the most important working cinematographers today; in the interest of keeping it manageable, we’ve confined ourselves to those who work primarily in American film, and those who are still prolific in the industry.

If you ask me, Ejiofor should be playing Bond.

i think he's spent enough time acting in Bond-age.

Phil Nobile Jr wrote:Remember when we talked about how Bond 24 was being pushed to December so longtime 007 screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade could “punch up” the script, and we thought it was kind of weird that a mere dialogue polish would push the schedule back so significantly? Well now Daily Mail Bond Boy Baz Bamigboye is saying the rewrites were maybe a bigger overhaul than initially suggested, his sources going so far as to say the new script is “substantially different” than John Logan’s draft, and that Logan’s work has been “politely moved aside.” Yikes! (And yes, we know it's the Daily Mail, but Bamigboye has a reputation for being on point with this stuff, so for now we'll give the benefit of the doubt.)
