I just watched the first three episodes with headphones. There are moments where the sound (Murdock's perspective) is just awesome, but it's just small moments here and there. I like that it's used sparingly to keep it a unique experience.
But yeah, only three episodes in and I'm in love with it. Biggest happy surprise is that it's set in the MCU - where NYC was destroyed in The Avengers. But it makes me curious as to how something so incredible could happen, but just be a sidenote in history. I mean.... fuck.... aliens came to invade and freaks with super abilities (oh, and a Norse god!!!) defended the city/planet. You think that would change the world to an effect!
