No, it's a 1980s metal band.

I want to place an official bet right now that a "size matters" joke will make it to the final cut of the movie.

Yeah, I/we know. Saw it like 2 days ago. Bit late, we already got the rest of the net for such stuff, don't need TheZoneTheButcher.

why don't you just post a link to an article on an obscure website about the assistant key grip who worked on the movie and his beanie baby collection, THEN it would be like the Butcher had been here  :-P

I saw this yesterday. It's nothing special but it's fun, and it's a much-needed palate cleanser after Infinity War's grim ending and convoluted plot mechanics. This is a small-scale crime caper like the first Ant-Man, and it doesn't require an encyclopedic knowledge of Marvel films to enjoy. The perfect viewing conditions would probably be a Sunday afternoon when it just happens to show up on TV.

Saw Ant Man and the WAsp this weekend, wasn't bad. Forgettable for sure, but to kill 2 hours, it did its job. More comedy than superhero movie honestly.
I can just about sit thru anything that has Evangaline Lilly in it....

I've come to embrace the role of the Ant-Man films in the Marvel universe, despite my eternal disappointment that it never worked out with Edgar Wright. They're breezy palate cleansers that mostly take place in their own little pocket of the MCU. There's nothing terribly serious at stake, but they're slick and humorous and -- besides for the best jokes -- you mostly forget about them once they're over. I think the plot of Ant-Man and the Wasp was a little more convoluted than it needed to be, particularly with all the Quantum Realm stuff (despite their attempt to offset criticism with a knowing bit of dialogue, they really do throw the word "quantum" around way too much here), but all the characters with conflicting motivations play off each other really worked for me. And unlike the first film, which tried to toe the line between goofy and serious, the humor here is a lot more prominent and effective. I especially liked Randall Park as an FBI agent out of his depth and Walton Goggins as a sleazy black market dealer trying to move up in the world. It kind of felt like a superpowered Midnight Run: a couple leads on the wrong side of the law who have something that everybody wants; no real bad guys, just a bunch of goons; and hilarious ineptitude all around.
