Scorsese/DeNiro To Re-Unite?

All the dirt. All the top secret stuff. Anything that has to do with the process of getting us to sit and watch something projected on the big screen.

So... anybody end up watching this?
It took me three days to finish it (its long, and I cant dominate my tv like I used to in my house).

Can't say I liked it, or hated it. It was OK. The de-aging business was definitely weird.

Scorcese gonna do what Scorcese gonna do, so plenty of loud musical interludes why tough guys kill each other. And that isnt a complaint.

I saw it a while ago.

I thought it was horrible - and I use that term based on the amount of hype behind it - both the movie itself and Scorsese's attempt at defining "cinema" in the press at the time. Way too long, and I struggled to figure out who was supposed to be the main character at times (any time Pacino was on camera). My biggest complaint is that the story just never sunk its claws into me and pulled me in.

The de-aging stuff was some of the worst yet. There's a scene where a "younger" DeNiro is kicking the shit out of a guy....except that his foot never even comes close to touching the guy. It's an obvious error and something that Mr. Scorsese (or ANYONE) should have noticed immediately.

It was really good to see Pesci back on screen, though.
