We all have 'em. Movies that you know are complete crap, but you can't help liking them anyway.

Here's mine: Young Guns. Even more embarassing is the fact that the only reason I haven't bought Young Guns II is because I'm hoping there'll be an SE someday!

So let's hear 'em!

No it's not! I don't own it, but I've found myself watching it every time I've come across it on cable. Great little Ensamble Teen flick!

...alphabetically, chronologically....where to start. How about FREE ENTERPRISE!

I love it...cracks me up - but the only human being I've found on this green Earth so far who liked it was a fully-paid up member of the Trekkie phenomenon (he missed the last con because he couldn't choose between going as Borg or Vulcan).

Is there Irony in his finding it funny? Let me count the ways....

All of the god-awful exploitation flicks from the 50s and 60s that are released by Something Weird. There's nothing redeemable about any of the films they put out, but damn if I don't watch them all and enjoy the hell out of 'em.

Krull. I think it's the Horner score that does it. I've seen that movie a bazillion times.

Oh, and this is my first post. Hi guys.

As most of you film geeks know, the film-going experience used to actually live up to the word "experience". You'd often be able to see several films at once in a Matinee showing, or, if you go right back, you'd get the old-and unvarying- trailer, newsreel, short film, cartoon shown before the main feature.

Well I'm here to tell you that someone out there actually collects those often terrible short films on DVD. Though there are a few nuggets to be found. Stars like Bogey, Matthau and Jimmy Stewart could be found in a few of these short movies before they hit it big.

Yeah, also The Fast and the Furious I guess... I fucking hate that film, and it's not exactly a Guilty Pleasure. Somebody, give me your address so I can send you the DVD in the post.

First Blood is nothing to be guilty about. Rambo II on the other hand...it leads me to believe you are a secret Reaganite war-mongerer. Or just a lover of cheap and cheerful gung-ho action movies.

I love the PowerPuff Girls! And Meet the Beat-alls was a fantastic episode!

Back on topic... I own Hercules in New York with a very young, fresh off the boat Arnold Schwarzenegger. I had it on tape, but bought the DVD because it has the released version (where Ah-nuld's voice is dubbed) and the original version (where Ah-nuld speaks the very first english of his life).

Powerpuff Girls Rule! I went to the movie on opening day (opened on the 4th of July that year) and the only other people in the theater were a dad with is 7 year old daughter and two dudes in trench coats (Remember, 4th of July) one of them wearing a "Will Game For Food" T-shirt. AWESOME!!!

As is Spice World. :-)

The Powerpuff Girls rock! I own the movie. How can you not love a robot monkey throwing poo-bombs out his ass?

The Meet the Beat-alls episode was clever and inventive in a way that I rarely see in American cartoons anymore.

Alright yous guys. This is a "guilty pleasures" thread. And with that in mind, I will say that my guilty pleasure movie is....

Fried Green Tomatoes.

Let the flames begin. But don't bother with the whole "you're g@y" thing. It's trite. Be inventive.

Oh, and I stand by this movie. Any movie with cannibalism in it is cool.

The Hidden ( Kyle MacLaughlins first go as a strange FBI agent)

The Fifth Element ( gets slagged by some, but has a great score & is, really, just plain fun.)

Robin & Marion ( yeah, its a real old school romance thing, but Audrey Hepburn broke my heart in this one, has a great cast & score...and Sean Connery rocks it)

Battle Beyond the Stars ( Star Wars spoof, with a pretty decent cast, one of James Horner's first scores, & Sybil Dannings swollen tatas. )

First Blood ( gotta second the preceding notion on this one; good flick - didn't go into caricature as badly as the next Rambos did.)

Return of the Living Dead ( James Karen was funny as hell & Linnea Quigley spends most of the movie kinda nakeed...um boy. )

The Keep ( one of my favorite Jurgen Prochnow performances; also with Gandalf & Gabriel Bryne)
.
