THOR: Love and Thunder

All the dirt. All the top secret stuff. Anything that has to do with the process of getting us to sit and watch something projected on the big screen.

I'm actually looking forward to this because it looks like a fun action flick that won't have promotions for three other Marvel projects shoehorned in there. Plus, Taika Waititi is always reliable.

I was thinking about Thor in this universe a few weeks ago (I was rewatching all the Avengers movies).
Outside of the first Thor (maybe the second one, which I really don't remember), the Thor movies are practically comedies. I wonder if there is a comic fan aversion to this movie version. Like "purists" who are upset that their favorite comic book character is a punchline in so may of the movies.

i love Natalie, but Drew Barrymore should have played this part. why?
because when she works out, she becomes thor.

I have read that some people are upset because they basically turned Thor into Hercules, who in the comics is the resident goofy demigod.

So I watched this last night. As I noted above, Thor is total comic relief in most of the marvel avengers movies, a little less so in his own early movies.
This one is a full on comedy, not even disguised as anything else.
And it sucked. I was really, REALLY bored thru most of it, wanting it to just end already. Enough with the jokes Taikiti.

I think he's getting stretched a little thin. i love What We Do in the Shadows, and i loved Ragnarok. but that pirate show was kinda disappointing, and i've heard bad things about this. maybe he needs a break or something.

I like Ragnorok too! This is that x5.
I tried to watch the pirate show, got about 3/4 way thru episode 1, stopped and never went back.
